I'M A UCLA GIRL

Lo studio procede. Mi mancano due esami per laurearmi. OH MIO DIO. Non ci credo ancora. Sono alle prese con i libri di Arte Contemporanea da due mesi all'incirca e con la realizzazione di un progetto di Laboratorio di produzione video quindi diciamo che mi alterno fra libri e immagini virtuali. Incrociate le dita per me, ne ho bisogno. Faccio una pausa giusto per mostrarvi la mia nuova felpa californiana :))

Parlando dei miei prossimi spostamenti/progetti: questa domenica parteciperò alla festa di LUISAVIAROMA a Firenze con le mie compagne di avventura REBECCA di TOPREBEL e CHARLIE di CHARLIEINTOVOGUE. Il problema? Il tema dell'evento, ovvero FASHION SUPERHEROES. Cercherò di improvvisare qualche cosa. ultimamente non ho avuto molto tempo né per lo shopping (solo ieri mi sono fatta un giro da Zara, Stradivarius & CO. ma sinceramente non mi sono innamorata di niente), né per ristabilire un minimo la mia vita sociale. Aiuto, spero di non trasformarmi in una nerd accanita.. Poi sennò vi obbligherei a seguirmi nel mio realityshow intitolato "Diario di una Nerd superstar". No, non mi pare il caso. Ci sarebbero pochi contenuti interessanti. Tornando alla festa di LUISA, Lunedi pubblicherò le foto della serata (si festeggierà il superheroes KARL LAGERFIELD ma anche e soprattutto il compleanno di Rebecca!). Quindi che dire? Aspetto i vostri commenti Lunedì. Vi lascio con i video del mio nuovo gruppo preferito. Già gli adoravo da "EL CAMINO" .. ora poi che agli MTV MOVIE AWARDS 2012 hanno adottato per una sera Johnny Depp come chitarrista (eccezionalmente bravo devo dire) mi sono proprio innamorata di loro: THE BLACK KEYS .

Speaking of my next trips/projects: this Sunday I'll go to the LUISAVIAROMA party in Florence with my adventure mates REBECCA and CHARLIE (TOPREBEL & CHARLIEINTOVOGUE). The only one "problem" is the theme of the event — FASHION SUPERHEROES. I'll try to improvise anything. I've not had much time for shopping (just yesterday I went around Zara, Stradivarius & co. but honestly I am in love with nothing), or to restore my social life. Help! I hope not to turn into a fierce nerd ... I would force you to follow me in my reality shows titled "diary of a Nerd superstar". No, I guess it's not a wonderfull idea. Returning to LUISA's Party, next Monday I will publish the photos of the evening (we will celebrate the superheroes KARL LAGERFIELD but also and especially the birthdaygirl Rebecca!). So what about? I want to read your comments about the party on Monday. I leave you with some videos of my new favorite group. MAKE-UP ME

Ok, Maggio è alle porte. Il calendario dovrebbe rammentarci che fra poco è estate ma il meteo ci sbandiera il contrario. Oggi doveva essere un giorno da passare al mare, con tanto di bagno/tuffi/abbronzatura.. quindi in un breve riassunto basterebbe un GRRR per descrivere lo stato d'animo attuale. L'unica cosa da fare in questi casi è ingegnarsi e trovare un modo per trascorrere la giornata senza passare ogni 5 minuti da uno sbadiglio all'altro. Se Domenica scorsa io e Martina abbiamo ringraziato WebCam Toy (vedi il post QUI ), oggi è doveroso un omaggio a KIKO MAKE UP.. e alla mia make-up artist del giorno: GIULIA (si, proprio lei, quella Giulia del mio tatuaggio sul polso). Armata di pennelli, blush, mascara e ombretti dalle varie tonalità, questa nuova adepta di CLIO MAKE UP mi ha fatto vedere che anch'io posso essere truccata senza sembrare il clown che ho dipinto con gli acquerelli (e che mamma tiene orgogliosamente appeso in camera sua. Miraccomando fatemi sapere nel caso la somiglianza si notasse). Il fatto è che sono completamente incapace nel truccarmi e al massimo so "usare" il mascara, la matita e un gloss. Una cosa è certa: non sono la PAT McGRATH della situazione. Ma, sapete che cosa vi dico? Visto che ogni tanto mi vien voglia di vedere il BEFORE/AFTER di me stessa.. Oggi ho tentato. Non si sa mai, magari ci prendo il vizio.


"Ok, May is at the door. The calendar should remind us that summer is coming but the weather says the opposite. Today it should be a sea/bath/Tan day.. but there's only one word for this: a "GRRR" can describe the current state of mind. The only thing to do in these raining cases is to be creative and find a way to spend the day without having a yawn every 5 minutes. If last Sunday MARTINA and I , we had fun on WebCam Toy (see post HERE), today is a tribute to KIKO MAKE UP ... and to my make-up artist of the day: GIULIA (Yes, just her, the Giulia of my tattoo). Armed with paint brushes, bronzer, mascara and eye shadow from various shades, this new follower of CLIO MAKE UP made me see that I don't look like the clown that I painted with watercolors when I was little (MOM take him in her wall proudly). The fact is that : the only things I "use" for make up are a mascara, a  black pencil and a gloss. No, I'm not PAT McGRATH. But, you know what? Today I tried to see the BEFORE/AFTER of myself. You never know, maybe I'll take the vice."
