HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

Non c'e' cosa migliore che festeggiare il compleanno con le persone capaci di colorare le giornate della tua vita. Se poi ci aggiungi un bel brunch in puro american style in un carinissimo diner sul mare.. La giornata inizia proprio alla grande! Grazie a tutti per gli auguri, le mail, il supporto, i regali e i sorrisi.

DO YOU LIKE COLORS? I DO.

Ogni tanto ci vuole. Ogni tanto, quando la mia giornata è un pò spenta, mi piace andare dove posso trovare i colori fissi sul muro. Mi ricordano che non tutto nella vita è bianco e nero, mi fanno tornare anche a credere che non è necessario sempre abbinare i colori solo perchè "stanno bene insieme". Rosso e viola. Azzurro e giallo. Mai nella vita abbinerei due colori tanto distanti. Si prendono a testate solo a nominarli insieme nella stessa frase. Eppure a vederli lì sul muro danno l'idea di qualcosa di perfettamente imperfetto. E mi ricordano che non tutto nella vita dev'essere fatto con logica. A volte è proprio qualcosa che stona ad emergere.

E' di un rosa chiaro che mi ha fatto pensare a due cose: estate e abbronzatura. Lo so, questo tempo ci sta negando una bella giornata. Ma io resto fiduciosa:)

My new necklace is light pink and it remains me two things: summer and tan. I know we have to wait a little for having some good sunny days .. But I am a believer:)

VIDEO INSPIRATION. LANA DEL REY

Come vi avevo anticipato qualche post fa ( se ve lo siete perso fate click QUI ), mi era venuta l'idea di spezzare la routine dei soliti post sugli outfit e agire più di fantasia. Post ispirati a video musicali e ad artisti che, quando si parla di stile, offrono il meglio di loro stessi. Ed eccoci qua. Ho pensato di iniziare con la ragazza che ama mixare la primavera di Botticelli con i figaccioni tatuati alla guida di auto da corsa. Parlo ovviamente di LANA DEL REY. Il suo stile è dolce, malizioso, retrò e falsamente innocente. Basta guardare le sue labbra per accorgersene. Ho pensato bene di omaggiare il suo stile con un post dalle tonalità neutre, primaverili ma con un tocco street. Se avete l'impressione di aver già visto da qualche parte questa corona di fiori.. Beh, non vi sbagliate. Si tratta dell'accessorio cheap che scelsi per il Pink Carpet di Luisa Via Roma (click QUI se vi siete persi il post) e che è stato criticato/elogiato. A Andy è piaciuto.. Ad ogni modo, visto che di Lana si parla nel mio nuovo articolo in uscita questo Lunedì su GAZDUNA, non vedo miglior occasione di riferirmi a lei. Lunedì vi posterò il link dove potrete leggerlo e spero con tutto il cuore che vi piaccia. Aspettando di sapere che cosa ne pensate del mio articolo, dove moda e musica si prendono a braccetto e si danno qualche pizzicotto, vi lascio con queste foto molto "Flower power" che mi sono divertita a fare. This is the cheap accessory that I chose for the Pink Carpet to Luisa Via Roma (click HERE if you missed the post) and that was criticized/praised. Andy liked ... However, my new article out this Monday on GAZDUNA, talks about Lana and I see no better occasion to refer to her. Monday, I'll post the link so you can read it and I hope you like. It's so funny! POPCORN MOVIE STAR

Popcorn alla mano. Fatti in casa o confezionati. Posto in prima fila e occhiali extra large per il 3D. Benvenuti. Da oggi inauguro un nuovo capitolo. O una nuova rubrica, chiamatela come volete.
Per spezzare un pò la monotonia dei soliti post sugli outfit ho pensato di escogitare una variazione. Se vi state chiedendo di che cosa mai diavolo si tratta, vi rispondo all'istante. Sto pensando a una serie di post ispirati a video musicali, più o meno famosi. Il riconoscimento o meno dei suddetti video dipende dal genere di musica a cui vi dedicate.. La musica è da sempre mia alleata/compagna di giochi e viaggi mentali. No, non mi faccio di LSD. La mia droga è molto più potente e si chiama fantasia. E la musica non fa altro che alimentarla. Forse alcuni di voi non coglieranno al volo i miei riferimenti. Ma non disperate. Per ogni post "musicalmente ispirato" improvviserò una sorta di Wikipedia in modo da aggiornarvi sulle scoperte musicali nelle quali mi sono imbattuta. Aspetto i vostri suggerimenti: se avete in testa un video che vi piace e che vorreste vedere re-interpretato o re-interpretarlo voi stessi.. Graffiti girl comes to Ibiza

7 giorni spettacolari. Spiagge bellissime (Cala Bassa, Cala Comte, La Salinas..per non parlare della bellezza di Formentera), cenette speciali, aperitivi unici nel delirio del Bora Bora.. musica fino all’alba all’Amnesia, Space, Pacha, Dc-10, Privilege.. Risate a non finire. E tanto colore. Come piace a me. Sempre alla ricerca di un tocco metropolitano ovunque mi trovi, sono rimasta colpita dalla produzione artistica dell’Isola bianca. Graffiti e murales non mancano. In questo caso è lo spazio urbano che ha fatto breccia nel mio cuoricino. Ibiza è un’isola dalle mille facce e questa vacanza mi resterà nel cuore.

Il Total white? Il lavoro a maglia e la produzione di centrini? Non sono da me.. solitamente. Troppo romantici, troppo dolci.. Un colore che guardo da sempre con sospetto (non solo perchè ingrassa eheh) unito ad un estenuante lavoro di intrecci. Ma stavolta mi sono lasciata tentare. La colpa probabilmente è di un certo abitino che ho visto indossare a Whitney (Port..la ragazza che non sgarra mai.. The City, presente?), ma non solo. Mi viene da ricordare una sfilata P/E di Anna Sui dove il pizzo bianco era sapientemente mischiato con lo stile hippie (che adoro). Per non parlare del photoshoot che ho sfogliato sulle pagine di PIG. E’ un trionfo del bianco. Non scontato. E sdrammatizzato.

“The total white? The knitting and the production of doilies? they are out of my mind .. normally. Too romantic, too sweet .. A color that has always looked with suspicion (why not just get fat hehe) combined with an exhausting work of plots. But this time I felt in temptation. The fault is probably of a dress that I have seen wearing Whitney (Port.. The City..you must know about her), but not only. It makes me remember a show P / E of Anna Sui, where the white lace was carefully mixed with hippie style (which I love). Not to mention the photoshoot I thumbed on the pages of PIG. It’s a triumph of white.

“100” % Trendy Trashy

Grazie grazie e ancora grazie! Oggi festeggio i primi 100 lettori fissi del blog.. e sono letteralmente entusiasta! Grazie davvero a tutte/i voi che mi seguite, commentate e scrivete.
